| "Good or Evil" |

You have the power to do good or evil. You have that power in the way you look upon others, the way you speak to them and the way you treat them. The question becomes will you do good or evil.
The answer is not found in what one may want but is often governed by the condition of the heart. A heart filled with discouragement, envy and strife will be almost incapable of showing kindness and love. So what is one to do?
Three simple steps can be suggested to you. First, each morning rise up with the purpose of being an encourager. Work at it and plan things to do to accomplish the encouraging purpose. Secondly, learn to be happy where you are and with what you have. Stop looking over the fence at what your neighbors own and you will surely stop being so envious. Lastly, remove the chip from your shoulders and stop looking for a fight. Most fights are caused by people in the mood to fight. Be at peace with yourself and at peace with others, then your heart will begin to follow suit.
This day you have the power to do good or evil. What will your heart accomplish?
