"Spiritual Death???"

"Spiritual Death"
Have you ever heard people using the phrase "Spiritual Death?" It is used as a warning against a person not being saved. They will go on to ask "if you die tonight where will you spend eternity?" This "ending up place" according to their beliefs is either hell or eternal life. This belief shows a lack of study and understanding of the Word of God.

First, there is no such thing as Spiritual Death. Go and read the Scriptures again without the normal predetermined thought concerning the Second Death. The Second Death is the merely the ending God promised for sin and death. It has nothing whatsoever to do with people going to eternal damnation. In fact you need to remember God said that He would reconcile ALL THINGS, bring about everlasting peace and make a total ending of sin and death. Now how in the world do you find it possible for God to do those things and leave billions suffering in sin and death for all eternity? It does not even come close to making any logical sense. In fact is quite foolish to hold to the belief in eternal damnation.

We are alive because of God's Breath. The presence of God's Breath in us is what makes us alive. When the Breath leaves us we die. At that point the remaining corpse that was once "alive" is nothing more than evaporating water, minerals and chemicals collectively called dust and ashes. When we die we are merely dead which is called "sleeping with the fathers" in the Scriptures. In fact Paul even wrote that we are all corpses even when we are alive because there is no life in us except for the Breath of God that makes us alive temporarily.

Secondly, there is a very confusing lack of understanding in church teachings about what happens when we die. I dare you to go find a verse that says "when a saved person dies they immediately go to heaven, walk through the pearly gates, get their mansion and inheritance of eternal life. That is a fairy tale of epic proportions that the church purposely lies to you so people will continue to line their collection plates. The church does not want any of you to think and learn from the Word of God. They want to control you and tell you what you can think so to never relinquish control of your religious slavery. If they actually studied the Word of God then they would have to tell you that at death everyone goes into the earth. No one has ascended unto the Father YET, NO ONE!. There will be one resurrection of the dead "both great and small" as all of mankind will be raised to stand before the Throne of God. There is no such thing as the saved going to heaven and the lost to hell upon death. Nothing more than a pagan lie that came from the teaching of the Babylonian Mysteries. Modern Christianity has embraced this paganism as it became worldly under Roman Decrees beginning in the late second and third centuries.

Thirdly, let us look at the "Second Death" from Revelation 20:6 and 20:14. Just read the verses for yourself and see how far off based the teachings of the church are. In verse 6 it states that the rest of the dead lived not again until after the thousand years reign of Jesus on the earth is finished. Now listen carefully so I may share with you some facts concerning Prophesy. When Jesus returns a specific prophesy has to be fulfilled. Jesus said to those standing there that day some among you will see his glorious return. Now you may think this is speaking of his resurrection after three days in the grave but that’s not much of a prophecy is it? Jesus spoke of an event two thousand years in the future that some would come back from the grave to see. He was speaking of his future earthly reign. That means when Jesus returns some Jewish Graves will open and they will live again during the Thousand Year Millennial Reign of Jesus. If you recall when Jesus died there were graves opened and many people were seen in Jerusalem walking around that have been dead. This temporary resurrection as is the one to come when Jesus' returns to the earth. If have to step back and remember as a whole all of mankind is seen through the eyes of God as it relates to the resurrection. The church has brainwashed you into believing religion is all about individuals. It's not! All of mankind will be raised from death and corruption unto eternal life. We will all be raised from mortality into immortality and in perfection reconciled unto God to become One again with Him.

The Second Death involves only sin and death not anyone else. If you would, please think about those two things. Are they not both like shadows of no substance? Sin and death only have temporary power of existence. When God eliminates sin He also eliminates any prior effect of sin's existence. So sin is not only gone but any effect any sin may have had on anyone. The elimination of sin and death occurs at the same time as the resurrection of the dead. Why are the dead dead? Silly question but we are dead because of sin and death plus it is decreed by God that all people must die. So that is why we are dead. So now look at what happens when God eliminates sin and death. We are dead because of these two things but God eliminated them and any prior effects of their existence. So thus we are resurrected from the dead but just as important we are resurrected without sin or death. So we are raised incorruptible and immortal perfectly so we can be reconciled as one with Jesus and then unto God.

Lastly, please allow me to address the misconceptions about the Book of Life. I am sure most if not all of you have been told the “Book of Life” is a huge Book in Heaven where God will write your name down if you do what you need to do in order to be saved. As another in series of fairy tale lies told to you by the church, you need to think this through logically. So IF the Book of Life only records those that did what was needed to be saved, then Jesus lied when he said there is nothing you can do to be saved. In fact Paul lied too, when he said our salvation cannot come from any action, thought, prayer, belief or work we can do or accomplish. So the very basis for the Book of Life non-sense taught by the church is foolishness at best. Every person ever conceived is in the Book of Life. It is the recording of earthly life not a decision from life lived. Look at these two verses:

Exodus 32:33 - And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

This destroys the argument that the Book of Life is ONLY for the saved to be recorded in. So before you go “postal” on me look at the verse in Exodus. You would read it and think if you sin then God will blot you out of the Book. But remember the truth – we are all sinners and all fall short of the glory of God. So if the erasing out of the Book of Life results from a person sinning against God or self then we are all erased but that is not the case. Remember God Himself said He would eliminate sin and any problem, issue or debt created because of sin. He will wipe the slate totally clean and take away all sins. So the translation as written is totally wrong in its presentation.

Psalms 69:28 - Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

Another “Postal” moment for the church is in this verse until you stop for a moment to think. If I am alive today would you say I am living? If living then the government lists me as alive. So I would be in the books of the living. When I die I am no longer in the books of the living unless I vote Democrat then I can continue to vote for hundreds of years!! This verse is actually quite simple to understand. David spoke of people that lived outside the love and Will of God. Their actions and lifestyles were contrary to God. So David wrote “let them die in their sins” and not be written or mentioned with the names of people that live for the Lord. He clearly was not saying for God to “blot” them out of the Book of Life. First, God made the Book to Record His Breath and promises. So allow me to share with you that promise. God formed Adam and then God breathed into Adam a Breath making Adam alive. Eve was taken from Adam’s side and with it a portion of that breath (life) went into Eve. Adam and Eve had children and each child received a portion of that breath (life) and so on for all people. For each person that received the portion of the breath (life) then the Book of Life records it as a promise. It is God’s Promise not man’s. God promises to raise all of mankind – everyone from death and give the everlasting Breath again to all people with a perfectly new incorruptible and immortal body. I will also remind you the Scriptures state “there are none righteous no not one” so do you really think this verse is contrary to God’s own Word? Of course not!

Book of Life as you can see the names were already in the Book of Life. So let me add to this knowledge something that Moses said to God. It concerned one of the many sins Israel did opposing God. Moses asked for their forgiveness and even said for God to blot his name out of the Book of Life if that is what it took for Israel to be forgiven. Through the years of added pagan beliefs, the church began to teach people had to earn their way into the Book of Life. This is the opposite of what the Word says. It is not a journal detailing one’s reservation has been confirmed for eternal stay. No, the Book is God’s Guarantee to reconcile all people from sin and death. So consider this thought, the Word states we are all dead in sin so why would you need a Book of Life for all of us dead people. The Book of Life is a recording of God’s promise to save all of mankind from sin and death so to give unmerited salvation to all of us dead people. This Book is God’s personal guarantee that His Will shall be done in all of Creation’s reconciliation back unto Himself.

Luke 10:20 - Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

Here Jesus reminds us even today that the main thing in life is God’s written guarantee of eternal life for all of us sinners! Our names are written in the Book of Life before the foundation of the World was spoken into existence. God wrote our names in His Book because we are His people. He formed us to one day reconcile us perfectly unto His loving arms with eternal life. In this Book He promises to redeem us all from sin and death unto eternal life with Him!

Now for the Greatest News about the Book of Life and it is written in this verse quoting Jesus. He said, “Rejoice because your names are written in heaven.” Sorry to tell all you “save yourself Christians” but Jesus said this to all the people. Not a one of them were born again, not a one of them walked the aisle to join a church, and not a one of them prayed the sinner’s prayer or had their name on a church roll. The people Jesus spoke to were all sinners in needed of God’s Perfect Lamb that came here to save all sinners. So rejoice and stop with the “here is how you can be saved” lying messages that steal the glory from the Lamb of God.

In closing thoughts remember the Second Death is not a curse to mankind but the wonderful part of the design by God for the redemption and salvation of mankind!
